Courage on Ice – Anaphylaxis doesn’t stop her

“Since birth, Kendall Hollinger has had to battle for her life. In addition to asthma, severe reflux and heart murmur, the 8-year-old Lakewood girl is allergic to 95 percent of all food.
She must follow a restrictive diet of mainly potatoes, chicken and rice. She depends on a feeding tube in her stomach and formula for daily nourishment. Her peanut allergy is so severe that residual dust from peanuts transferred from someone’s hand to a phone she uses is life-threatening.”
A truely inspirational story, and a young girl that I would very much like to interview and spread her message to all those that suffer from food allergies.

This is my daughter. She is my hero and any time you would like to interview her i am sure Kendall would love it.Raising awareness is the key element in surviving the ride on the rollercoaster ride of living w/ severe food allergies.Abc7 Deniese Dadore did a segment on her a few weeks ago.Kendall thought it was awesome that people were finally taking allergies serriously.Take care and God bless!
