Allergic to the cold. Now that's a hard one. Especially down south, where it gets really cold.

I've edited your comment for privacy, since when you reply on the blog which I always encourage it gets posted automatically and is publically visible.

Hi Aaron, our son has been diagnosed with a rare allergy. It is called cold urticaria (hives). He passed out after going into the sea in early December. He was down the beach with teenage friends who knew about his allergies and wanted to take him to the toilets to wash him off! Thankfully they didn't as it probably would have made it worse. The pediatric allergy specialist says he sees only one patient a year with a positive test result. So now no swimming or boating or camping in tents. It shall be an interesting winter for us down here in the chilly part of southern Australia.
