Back to School with Anaphylaxis – Episode #25
Well it’s back to school time again in Australia, and Anaphylaxis Australia put out a press release a couple of weeks ago about it. So I thought I’d cover it on the show.
Of course this information isn’t just for Australia, it’s universal, so press the play button on the media player below to listen to this episode.
You can catch the show in iTunes as well if you would like to listen to us from there (click the link in the top menu of the site).
In the show I talk about Anaphylaxis Australia, FAAN, Anaphylaxis Talk
Next show I’ll talk about the Anapen which is a direct competitor and alternative to the Epipen.
Talk soon

Hi Aaron, our son has been diagnosed with a rare allergy. It is called cold urticaria (hives). He passed out after going into the sea in early December. He was down the beach with teenage friends who knew about his allergies and wanted to take him to the toilets to wash him off! Thankfully they didn’t as it probably would have made it worse. The pediatric allergy specialist says he sees only one patient a year with a positive test result. So now no swimming or boating or camping in tents. It shall be an interesting winter for us down here in the chilly part of southern Australia.
Allergic to the cold. Now that’s a hard one. Especially down south, where it gets really cold.
